Vaea Verbeeck's SCOTT Gambler for the Red Bull Rampage 2025
The Canadian rider Vaea Verbeeck returns to the desert of Virgin (Utah) to face a new edition of the Red Bull Rampage, the wildest event in MTB freeride. And she will do it with the mission of finishing what she started last year and doing it on a unique bike, a customized SCOTT Gambler prepared for the most extreme lines of the Rampage.
This is the special SCOTT Gambler that Vaea Verbeeck will compete with in the Red Bull Rampage 2025
Verbeeck, a SCOTT rider and one of the leading figures in women's freeride, left her mark in 2019 during Red Bull Formation and returned in 2024 to be part of the first edition of the women's Rampage, where she secured a solid fourth place with a run that combined precision, style, and power. Her performance not only earned her an automatic invitation for 2025, but also solidified her as one of the main drivers of the growth of freeride among women.
"I expect an epic second edition of the Rampage this year. Overcoming fear barriers, having fun, and giving out many high fives. I can't wait to see how we all give our best," comments Vaea.

After fracturing her elbow at the Red Bull Hardline in Wales, Verbeeck began a race against time to recover in time for Utah. "I am very satisfied with how my body feels, both on and off the bike. I leave the injury behind and focus on performing at my best. I would have liked to have more time to practice, but I feel capable of offering something solid and exciting," she states.
"By fun, I mean something very terrifying and intimidating... but when you find the flow, it becomes an incredible descent," she adds with a laugh.
The new setting for this edition offers more starting space, allowing for smoother lines and jumps of all sizes, something that Vaea has taken advantage of to design a course that reflects her evolution and style.
