TRP and Tektro strengthen their presence in the Peninsula with Bicimax
After its presentation during the last Sea Otter Europe, Bicimax has officially announced the exclusive distribution agreement for TRP and Tektro, two of the most recognized brands in the field of braking and transmission components. This move represents a strategic step that expands the reach and technical capability of the Portuguese distributor in the Iberian market.
TRP and Tektro: precision, power, and reliability
Founded in Taiwan in 1986, Tektro has established itself as one of the most respected brands in the industry, known for manufacturing reliable, affordable, and easy-to-maintain brakes. Its technological evolution led to the creation of the TRP (Tektro Racing Products) division in 2006, focused on developing high-performance braking systems for road, gravel, and MTB.

Today, TRP is distinguished by its precision engineering and direct collaboration with professional teams and athletes. Among its latest releases is the Evo Pro, an evolution of the successful DHR-Evo, featuring redesigned calipers, larger diameter pistons, and improved thermal management that ensures more powerful, stable, and modulated braking even on prolonged descents.

The brand has also made a technological leap with the TRP Vistar, its first wireless electronic group, designed for road and gravel. This system offers fast and precise shifts and fully integrates with Classified Powershift technology, allowing for 1x16 speed configurations that combine the range of a double group with the simplicity and reliability of a single chainring.
With this, TRP fully enters the realm of integrated solutions, uniting braking and transmission under the same philosophy of uncompromising performance.

The agreement with Bicimax includes not only the distribution of TRP and Tektro's main products but also their range of accessories, professional tools, and spare parts, with technical support and specialized training. The company thus ensures a stable supply and direct attention to workshops and stores.
“This collaboration reflects our vision of being alongside stores, offering technological innovation and specialized support for modern cycling”, they state from Bicimax.
