The American company Wolf Tooth Components has taken a step forward by becoming the first brand to introduce a hand pump compatible with the new Clik Valve system from Schwalbe that was introduced just a few months ago. This valve, specifically designed for tubeless systems, dispenses with the classic threads and levers, opting for a quick, intuitive, and uncomplicated connection.

The Clik Valve system arrived as a serious proposal from Schwalbe to evolve the way tubeless tires are inflated. And Wolf Tooth has been the first external manufacturer to the creator to present a complete range of solutions adapted to this new technology: from the first hand pump ready for Clik Valve, to conversion kits and anodized valves.

The new Wolf Tooth EnCase pump is available in versions of 30, 40, and 85 cc and for those who already have a pump from the brand, Wolf Tooth offers a conversion head that allows you to switch to the Clik system in less than 30 seconds, with the possibility of returning to Presta when desired.

As for prices, the EnCase Clik Valve pump starts at $66, the conversion kits for pumps cost 15€, the tubeless valve sets are priced at 38€, and you can also buy the valve stem set for modifying your current valves for 13€.

With this launch, Wolf Tooth is driving the adoption of a new standard that could shape the future of inflation in tubeless wheels. Only time will tell if this system ultimately prevails or is relegated to oblivion.
