SCOTT has announced a significant reinforcement of its gravel team for the 2026 season with the addition of five new male and female riders, expanding the depth and ambition of its competitive project in this discipline. The Swiss brand combines established profiles and emerging talent with the goal of gaining prominence in the main international events on the gravel calendar.

The core of the announcement features Alexis Skarda and Matthew Wilson, two already recognized names in high-level gravel. They are joined by Olivia Hottinger, Sophie Vitzthum, and Nils Correvon, completing a lineup varied in experience and profiles.

Alexis Skarda (36, USA) joins SCOTT after a very solid 2025 season, in which she confirmed her status among the best endurance riders. Her victory in the Swiss Epic, second place in Little Sugar, and third place in Chequamegon, along with her consistency in the Life Time Grand Prix —always within the top 5 overall since the start of the series— validate her signing. With a strong background in mountain biking, Skarda has successfully transferred power, technique, and race reading to top-level gravel and approaches this new stage focused on victory. “There are many changes that make everything feel new, and I am grateful to have partners like SCOTT who support me. I am excited to see what we can achieve together and to enjoy the process,” the American rider has stated.

Matthew Wilson (25, New Zealand) represents the young bet of the men's team. The New Zealander, from the North Island, already knows what it is like to compete in the Life Time Grand Prix after earning a wildcard in 2025, a season in which he showcased an offensive attitude and was close to victory in Big Sugar Gravel. National elite XCO champion in New Zealand in 2023, Wilson stands out for his aggressive style and lack of complexes, and he will seek to establish himself definitively in the elite of international gravel in 2026. “I have always had a weakness for SCOTT. My first 'real' MTB was a SCOTT Scale, and I won my first race with it. Signing my first professional contract with SCOTT now is something very special,” explains the 25-year-old rider.

The block is completed with three additions that bring very different profiles. Olivia Hottinger (28, Switzerland) has shown clear growth in 2025, particularly excelling in tough conditions, with mud and rain, and plans to compete in some of the most important events on the calendar, including The Traka 200. Sophie Vitzthum, relatively new to cycling, has surprised with the speed of her progression, with results such as second place in the Mt. Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hillclimb 2024 and third in the UCI Gravel Suisse 2025, while also balancing her sports career with her studies. Meanwhile, Nils Correvon (36, Switzerland) brings more than two decades of experience on the bike, from elite downhill to ultra-endurance and bikepacking, a versatile profile that reinforces the adventurous and competitive character of the team.

With these five additions, SCOTT consolidates a broader and more ambitious gravel structure for 2026, combining proven experience, youth, and versatile profiles to compete at the highest level when the asphalt ends.
