The Rock Shox Rudy XL expands the limits of gravel riding

Designed for those who see gravel as a challenge, the new Rock Shox Rudy XL fork allows you to go further with your bike thanks to its up to 60 mm of travel and a wheel clearance that can accommodate tires up to 29x2.25 while maintaining a firm setting that allows you to retain the direct sensations of a gravel bike when pedaling on fast terrain.

Rock Shox continues to bet on the most extreme gravel in its range of forks for this discipline. This is demonstrated by the launch of this new Rudy XL that extends its travel to 60 mm, which in practice means being able to ride with total safety on terrains more suitable for mountain biking than for pure gravel pedaling at high speed on tracks.

Despite having a maximum travel of 60 mm, the Rock Shox Rudy XL can be configured to have only 50 mm of travel if we want a firmer feel and less interference from the suspension when pedaling on fast terrain. In any case, its Charger Race Day 2 hydraulic cartridge is tuned to minimize movement when efficiency is paramount, and obviously, it has a firm lockout so that it does not move at all when riding at full speed.

Rock Shox does not forget rainy day rides, for which this Rock Shox Rudy XL will have an accessory, which will have to be purchased separately, a useful mudguard designed to integrate perfectly into this fork and securely fasten through the threads it includes for this purpose. A complement that will have a price of 25 €.

In addition to the Rudy XL Ultimate version, Rock Shox will have a simpler version of this fork, which dispenses with the Charger Race Day 2 hydraulic cartridge in favor of a conventional one with only rebound adjustment, and will be intended only for OEM assemblies. On the other hand, the Rock Shox Rudy XL Ultimate will have a retail price of 1,010 €.
