The Brasil Ride resumes amidst mud and epic moments: victory for Tiago Ferreira and leadership for Valero
The Brasil Ride Bahia 2025 resumed action with an authentic battle of survival in the fourth stage, after two days suspended due to the intense rains that hit the region. Portuguese Tiago Ferreira (Vouzela-BH-TF) took the victory after 127 km and 1,781 meters of positive elevation gain, crossing the finish line alongside the overall leader, Spanish David Valero (BH Coloma Team), with a time of 4h56'41''.
Tiago Ferreira wins stage 4 and Valero retains the lead after an epic day of mud at the Brasil Ride
The terrain conditions turned the day into a true odyssey: the thick and sticky mud forced many cyclists to get off their bikes to clean the wheel wells or even push them, unable to maintain balance on them. A stage of high physical and mental wear that left images of pure adventure mountain biking.

Dutchman Hans Becking finished third, more than nine minutes behind, while Brazilians Gustavo Xavier and Pedro Lage completed the top 5 of the day.
