The BH Coloma Team bids farewell to David Campos amid a profound change in the team
The departure of David Valero, the most decorated rider of the team and one of the standout names in Spanish MTB over the last decade, marked the beginning of a completely new era. With Valero facing new sporting challenges outside of XCO, the team led by Carlos Coloma has initiated a restructuring that affects both the sports leadership and the composition of the roster.

David Campos returned to the BH Coloma Team in 2025, the structure where he developed as an under-23 cyclist, after two seasons competing with the Orbea Factory Team, where he achieved promising results such as winning the European Short Track Championship in 2023. However, the 2025 season has not been the best for the cyclist. The lack of consistency in results and difficulties in establishing himself regularly in the elite have weighed heavily on the team's sports evaluation.

Campos' departure adds to the already announced departures of Sofía Waite and Alberto Barroso, and the renewals of Jofre Cullell, Olivia Onesti, Catriel Soto, and Hugo Franco, forming a solid core that is expected to see new additions soon.
For now, no names have been revealed, but everything points to a clear bet on emerging international talent to complete one of the most profound transformations in the team's history.
