The Andalucía Gravel Ride is born, the new gravel event linked to the Andalucía Bike Race

The Andalucía Bike Race by Garmin expands its cycling universe with the launch of the Andalucía Gravel Ride, a new experience specifically designed for gravel that will take place on Sunday, March 1, 2026 in Córdoba, as a parallel activity to the 16th edition of the stage race.

The new Andalucía Gravel Ride will have its first edition in March 2026

The sustained growth of gravel cycling in Spain has led the organization to launch this first edition, maintaining the organizational level and the demands that characterize the Andalucía Bike Race. The proposal will allow participants to traverse some iconic sections of the original race, adapted to the particularities of this modality.

The Andalucía Gravel Ride – Córdoba will feature a provisional circular route of 62.7 kilometers and 880 meters of positive elevation, with start and finish in the capital of Córdoba. The route combines gravel tracks, rural roads, and natural sectors representative of the environment, prioritizing fluidity and riding experience, without giving up on technical and demanding sections. The definitive route will be announced in the coming weeks.

The event is designed as an accessible day, open to both experienced gravel cyclists and those who want to start in the discipline within an organized and high-level event.

The registration period will open on January 27 at 11:00 AM and will close on February 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM, or earlier if the 300 available spots are filled.

The distribution of race numbers will take place on Saturday, February 28, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Parque de la Asomadilla (Córdoba), or on the same day of the race (Sunday, March 1) from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at Avenida Al-Nassir (Córdoba)
