Shimano Training Calendar 2026: with more practical sessions than ever
Shimano Iberia Academy has presented its new technical training calendar for 2026, a program that reinforces the brand's commitment to the specialized training of its distributors in a context where electronics and system integration are increasingly important in the cycling sector.
Shimano Iberia Academy presents its 2026 technical training calendar with more practical sessions and new Di2 and CUES content
Under the slogan “New Academic Year 2026 – Tech Trainings,” the company structures its proposal in two differentiated formats. The in-person training sessions will be held at its headquarters in Alcobendas (Shimano Iberia Academy) and online sessions in webinar format, with a calendar extending from March to October.
Shimano emphasizes that training is key to adapting to new times and providing the best service to the end customer, especially given the growing importance of electronics in today's bicycles.

In-person training: more practical than ever
One of the main novelties this year is that the in-person sessions will be “much more practical,” with more direct working time on products compared to previous editions.
These training sessions will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. They will be in groups of 3 people, and each group will have at least one component for practical exercises, using original Shimano tools. Attendees are requested to bring their laptop and the SM-PCE02 diagnostic tool.
The in-person program covers:
- Practice, assembly, and adjustment of Road Di2 groups and professional use of E-Tube.
- E-bike: troubleshooting common errors and faults using the E-Tube app and motor configuration.
- Product compatibilities CUES and hub maintenance (TC500).
- Wheel mechanics and maintenance of XTR, XT, and GRX 880 hubs.
- Range MTB Di2 (XTR–XT): maintenance of the derailleur, pairing methods, and practice with E-Tube.
- Presentation of the new Q-AUTO technology: adjustment, calibration, and maintenance of the hub.
