Pinarello could leave INEOS and the team still does not have a replacement brand
Movements continue at INEOS Grenadiers. After TotalEnergies' sponsorship arrival, rumors now point to the fact that, despite maintaining a collaboration for 16 years, the sponsorship contract between the British team and Pinarello has not been renewed, with no replacements for the Italian brand's bikes at the moment.
Pinarello and INEOS will part ways in 2026 after 16 years of sponsorship
Although there has been no official confirmation and the Italian brand has not made any statements about it, there are already several rumors pointing to the end of the sponsorship between INEOS Grenadiers and Pinarello after one of the longest relationships in recent cycling history.
Obviously, speculations have already arisen about which brand will replace Pinarello as the supplier of bikes for INEOS Grenadiers next year. Rumors also suggest a possible swap between Q36.5 and the British squad.

In this way, Scott would sponsor a top-level team again after the Swiss brand relinquished sponsorship of Picnic-PostNL, which now uses Lapierre. On the other hand, Pinarello's arrival at Q36.5 would clarify the situation for Tom Pidcock, who competes on Scott bikes on the road this season while using a Pinarello in mountain biking with whom he has personal sponsorship.
Obviously, Scott also deflects any questions regarding this possible move, stating that there is a current contract with Q36.5, an agreement that, however, only extends to this season.
Speculation has also been circulating that INEOS Grenadiers could start using Specialized bikes, which would undoubtedly remove one of the biggest barriers to the desired signing of Remco Evenepoel, leading to the growing possibility in recent weeks that the Belgian cyclist could end up joining Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe.
In any case, these are just rumors that are starting to gain traction in the cycling world, and while we all know that where there's smoke, there's fire, it's also not uncommon for what actually happens in the end to have nothing to do with what these rumors had predicted.
