Nike joins Visma-Lease a Bike
The Visma | Lease a Bike team adds Nike as a new partner to the team. Starting from the next Tour de France, the American sports giant will be responsible for supplying the street clothing for the Dutch team, an agreement that represents a new strategic step for both parties within professional cycling.

Although the official debut of the Nike logo with the team will take place at the Grand Départ, its presence was already visible at the recent Dutch National Time Trial Championship, where it shared space with the rest of the team's sponsors.

As you all may remember, Nike is no stranger to the world of cycling. Between 1996 and 2011, it sponsored the Tour de France jerseys and the brand had an iconic relationship with Lance Armstrong from his comeback after cancer until 2012, including the creation of the famous Livestrong bracelets, which raised millions for the fight against the disease before the brand cut ties after the USADA scandal.

The agreement with Visma | Lease a Bike currently focuses on the street clothing of the men's team, but it is not ruled out that this collaboration could be expanded in the coming years. This alliance represents Nike's first major foray into the professional male cycling scene in over a decade.

The addition of Nike joins other recent sponsorship announcements for Visma | Lease a Bike, which has also confirmed the arrival of Rabobank as a new partner for the French round. With these reinforcements, the Dutch team strengthens its commercial and media structure at a key moment in the season.
