  • One-finger braking from the shifter or from the bottom of the handlebar
  • AXS connectivity to improve fit, customization, and reliability
  • eTap shift logic for intuitive shifting
  • Bonus Buttons allow control of an ANT+ device or provide auxiliary shift buttons
  • The new shape of the shifters fits all hand sizes

2x Transmission: silent efficiency and ultra-fast shifts

SRAM introduces a new double chainring transmission that has been refined in both the front and rear derailleurs:

  • The front derailleur uses Yaw technology with auto-trim and a narrower cage, allowing for faster chainring changes even under load.
  • The rear derailleur is lighter than the previous version (12g less), with larger X-SYNC pulleys and compatibility with 10-28T to 10-36T cassettes, both in 2x and 1x.

The set supports gear ratios with 46/33T, 48/35T, and 50/37T chainrings. The XG-1270 cassettes, with XDR body, offer smooth steps with at least five one-tooth jumps between cogs.

Integrated power meters and increased precision

The new Force AXS power meters measure total power or balanced power between legs with an error margin of +/- 1.5%, and are designed not to be affected by temperature changes. It is available in three versions:

  • Integrated in chainrings (Thread Mount, 2x only)
  • Integrated in the single aero chainring (Force 1)
  • In the bottom bracket axle (Force AXS Power Meter Upgrade)

Chain and brakes: quieter, more durable, more powerful

The new Force chain with Flattop technology is designed for 12 and 13 speeds, with hard chrome finishes for greater durability and an aesthetic version in purple. The Hard Chrome coating on the inner plates of the links and pins reduces wear and extends their lifespan. It is compatible with 12-speed road groups and 13-speed XPLR AXS groups.
