New Rockrider Race 940 S 2026: more setups, same frame, and ready for any World Cup
Decathlon has taken advantage of the celebration of Samara Maxwell's title at the XCO World Cup 2025 to present its new Rockrider Race 940 S 2026 range. The model with which the New Zealander conquered the overall title now comes in three versions.

The presentation took place at the B'Twin Village in Lille, the brand's headquarters, in an event that served both to celebrate a historic year and to announce the new RACE 940 S 2026 range. The frame of the World Cup winner will be available in three versions that bring competition technology closer to more cyclists.

After four years of development, the Rockrider Race project has gone from being an ambitious idea to becoming a winning platform in the World Cup.

In Lille, engineers and riders from the Decathlon Ford Racing Team shared how the 940 S frame reached its maturity: a 120 mm suspension, refined kinematics, and exclusive fatigue tests conducted in Decathlon's own laboratory.

The bikes are assembled at the Atelier MKniX Lille, a precision industrial process that guarantees the same quality standard as the models used in competition.
With the 2026 range, Rockrider expands the family with three models —Comp, Team, and ProTeam— that share frame, geometry, and competitive spirit, but adapt the components and price to different levels of demand.
