New Gobik bib shorts X: ultra-lightweight (158 g), with graphene and full of details
Gobik has presented the new Culotte X, a garment designed under the philosophy of eliminating everything that does not contribute to performance so that the cyclist can focus solely on pedaling. The new model embraces a technical minimalism approach, with a very refined construction aimed at reducing weight, friction, and any interference between the cyclist's body and their performance.
Gobik Culotte X: the new minimalist culotte that bets on less weight and more performance
The Spanish brand positions this culotte as a key piece within its catalog. A model with high-end performance but priced in the mid-range, designed to become a base garment in the technical wardrobe of many cyclists.
An ultralight culotte: only 158 grams
One of the most striking aspects of the Culotte X is its weight. In size M, it weighs 158 grams, a figure that Gobik cites as a reference in its commitment to lightweight garments that provide a "second skin" feel.

To achieve this, the garment uses a optimized enveloping pattern that minimizes the number of seams. The goal is to avoid pressure points and friction that may arise during long hours of pedaling.
Another notable technical detail is in the leg openings with a raw cut, which do away with traditional silicone bands. Instead, the hold is achieved through the tension of the fabric itself, aiming to provide a firm fit without being aggressive on the skin.
DUALKNIT PRO fabric and straps with graphene
The technical base of the culotte is the DUALKNIT PRO fabric, a double circular nylon fabric designed to balance elasticity, durability, and breathability. Additionally, it has OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification and UPF 50+ sun protection, designed to perform in temperatures ranging from approximately 15 °C to 35 °C.

At the top, Gobik incorporates ergonomic straps with a raw cut and seamless design that integrate graphene thread, a material that helps improve thermal regulation and limit odor accumulation during exertion.
The design also features specific solutions according to the individual needs of each cyclist. The men's version includes a thermosealed opening, while the women's version has a rear magnetic closure that allows for technical stops without complications.
Chamois with Elastic Interface® technology
For contact with the saddle, the Culotte X incorporates chamois developed by Elastic Interface®, with specific models: K10 with graphene for men and K9 with graphene for women.

These chamois are designed for long-distance rides, prioritizing stability, comfort, and moisture management.
A garment designed to last
Gobik presents the Culotte X as a product intended for permanence within its collection. The initial launch comes in two colors, although the brand has announced that during the summer it will expand the color range to offer more combinations within its equipment.
Its price is €150 and it is already available on the Gobik website and through its usual distributors.
