Luca Braidot signs with a renewed Wilier-Vittoria MTB Factory Team
The Wilier-Vittoria MTB Factory Team announced that starting in 2025, they will focus on XCO competitions and have just presented the complete team with star signing Luca Braidot, fourth in the XCO world ranking.

To strengthen their XCO lineup, the Wilier-Vittoria MTB Factory Team has added three new talents to the team: the current Italian Elite XCO champion and fourth in the UCI world ranking, Luca Braidot; Italian elite cyclist Juri Zanotti; and young Canadian U23 promise Ella MacPhee.
Along with the new signings, the team has also unveiled a new visual identity that celebrates Italian excellence with a touch of pop culture: pasta. The new kits and Wilier Urta Max SLR will feature vibrant colors and details inspired by the shapes and textures of this dish.

Team director Marco Trentin highlighted during the presentation:
“We have great ambitions for the upcoming season and we are already working to achieve our first goals. The arrival of new cyclists, starting with Luca Braidot, has raised the team's level, creating a perfect balance between young talents and experienced athletes. In addition, we have taken an important organizational step with highly qualified staff including a performance manager, a technical coach, a nutritionist, experienced masseurs, specialized mechanics, and an exclusive hospitality area with a food truck to welcome sponsors and fans.”
The signing of Luca Braidot is undoubtedly a safe bet for the team's new ambitions in XCO. National champion of Italy, multiple winner of XCO World Cup events, fourth in the last Olympic Games and in the UCI world ranking. Luca will be a reference for results and a role model for younger cyclists.
“The team is very well organized in all aspects, and I can't wait for the first races. My main goal for 2025 is to stay solidly at the top of the World Cup and return to the Top 5 of the General Classification.” Braidot explained during the presentation.
The European XCO champion, Simone Avondetto recently renewed his contract until 2028. Both are two of the best representatives of the discipline in Italy and were part of the Olympic team in Paris 2024. In addition, the team has signed Juri Zanotti, U23 world runner-up in 2021. “This environment is perfect for me. Competing alongside Luca and Simone will be an additional incentive to make the leap in quality that I am building with a lot of work.” Juri said.
In the women's category, the arrival of Ella MacPhee, a young Canadian promise, generates high expectations. “I am determined to be constantly on the podium of the World Cup in 2025,” Ella stated. “Last year I was very close on two occasions, and this year I am hungry for victory and a prominent position in the overall standings.”
The team for 2025 is completed with Elian Paccagnella, Gustav Heby Pedersen, and Sofie Heby Pedersen.
With this lineup of 7 cyclists, the Wilier-Vittoria MTB Factory Team has managed to form a powerful team to start this new stage focused entirely on XCO.
