Strava continues to evolve far beyond simple activity tracking. The platform has globally launched its new Instant Workouts feature, a tool that analyzes the user's training history to recommend personalized sessions and routes based on their goals. This novelty is already available for cyclists, in addition to over 40 other sports, and its card-based interface is very user-friendly.

The idea is to provide immediate guidance to those who want to maintain consistency, improve their fitness, or return to sports after a break, without the need to follow complex plans or use external applications.
Instant Workouts directly relies on the history that the user has already uploaded to Strava. The more recorded activity, the more refined the suggestions will be, both in terms of training type and intensity or duration.
The system allows users to choose from four main approaches:
- Maintain fitness
- Build or improve physical condition
- Explore, with proposals aimed at discovering new routes
- Recover, with gentler sessions after demanding efforts

In sports that require routes, such as cycling or running, Strava automatically generates a route using its well-known Heatmap, which shows where the community typically moves.
