Half carbon, half titanium, this is the latest from Passoni
Any creation from the artisanal bicycle brand Passoni is, by itself, a work of art, always featuring titanium, treated in the most exquisite way as a hallmark of identity. However, the Italian brand has taken a step further with the construction of its new AT-01 Animus Titanium, which delves for the first time into the world of aerodynamic bicycles.

Passoni combines the best of two worlds to manufacture its most exclusive bicycle
The first aerodynamic bicycle from Passoni, a brand that has built its fame with its timeless titanium bikes, sees the light. The AT-01 Animus Titanium is the result of two long years of development in which Passoni has managed to merge its expertise in working with titanium with the incorporation of carbon fiber, a material that has allowed them to integrate aerodynamic profiles.
In its design, titanium is used for the entire lower block, from the head tube where titanium takes the form of a fitting, the entire diagonal tube, bottom bracket, and the two chainstays to the dropouts. Both the steering fitting, the bottom bracket, and the dropouts are manufactured using 3D printing. The entire upper part is made of carbon fiber, from the head tube block to the top tube, seat tube, and stays.

With this combination, Passoni achieves a lower block that provides stiffness and the appropriate force transfer while carbon is used to add comfort with the flex of its stays, reduce the weight of the bike, and, above all, allows for shaping the sections to achieve the desired aerodynamics.
To complete the wind resistance of this bike, Passoni adds its integrated carbon handlebar CP01, which, following current trends, allows for the complete routing of the cables inside the head tube.

A creation that retains all the essence of Passoni but also opens the door to future creations from the Italian brand and, as could be expected, comes with an exclusive price of €9,900 for just the frame kit.
