Garmin presents the Venu X1 and it seems like the perfect rival to the Apple Watch
Just 8 millimeters thick and a generous 2-inch screen. That's the new smartwatch that Garmin has just introduced, which you can wear all day, even while riding a bike, without any discomfort given its reduced dimensions and super lightweight design to monitor all your activity 24x7.

Your activity monitored 24 hours a day with the new Garmin Venu X1 smartwatch
Even thinner than the benchmark smartwatches like the Apple Watch, the new Garmin Venu X1 becomes a perfect option for those who want a device that is as unobtrusive as possible, with the power and various functions typical of a smartwatch and a full-featured sports watch and activity monitor as Garmin devices usually are.

The new Garmin Venu X1 is built on a titanium case with a two-inch AMOLED screen covered with sapphire glass for maximum scratch and impact resistance.
Despite its small size, which prevents a large battery from being placed inside, the Garmin Venu X1 boasts a battery life of up to 8 days in smartwatch mode. Of course, this duration is reduced if we activate activity recording functions as is the case with all these devices. Its screen is fully customizable, allowing you to choose from a multitude of data to display, including time, steps, heart rate, altitude, etc.

Garmin has integrated some of the functions we saw in its spectacular Forerunner 970 into this Venu X1, such as a speaker and microphone that allow not only voice commands but also direct responses to phone calls or dictating messages from the watch. Among the most notable functions are the ability to have maps, incredible in such a minimalist device, and of course, the usual training functions of Garmin devices.
A smartwatch that will be available for sale starting June 18th at a price of 799.99 euros.
