Garmin HRM 600, the new premium heart rate monitor strap from the brand is now rechargeable
Garmin has announced today the launch of the HRM 600, its new high-end heart rate monitor. This device not only provides accurate readings of heart rate and variability (VFC), but also introduces new features such as autonomous activity tracking and a rechargeable battery with up to two months of autonomy.
Garmin launches the new HRM 600: premium heart rate monitor with advanced data and rechargeable battery
Despite the emergence of new methods such as optical sensors that measure pulse on the wrist or arm, the chest strap heart rate monitor remains the most accurate and fastest. In that sense, Garmin has just launched its new high-end model, the HRM 600, with updated features that users have been demanding for some time, such as the USB rechargeable battery.
Key features of the HRM 600
Expanded running dynamics: For runners, this monitor is compatible with devices like the new Forerunner® 970, the HRM 600 introduces the stride length metric, which indicates how speed decreases when touching the ground. It also collects data already known to advanced runners, such as stride length, vertical oscillation, or ground contact time balance, available on watches like the Forerunner 570.
- Activity tracking without a watch: Ideal for sports where a smartwatch cannot be worn, such as soccer or basketball, the HRM 600 allows you to track heart rate, calories, speed, distance, and other data. All of this can be viewed and analyzed later in the Garmin Connect™ app.
- Rechargeable battery and practical design: With up to 2 months of autonomy per charge, the HRM 600 is easily managed through a physical button, while its LED indicator shows the operating status and battery. Its module is detachable and the strap is machine washable.
- Maximum connectivity and comprehensive tracking: The monitor transmits real-time data to Edge® cycle computers, smartwatches, and apps like Tacx™ Training. It can also track steps, minutes of intensity, or calories without the need for a watch, and sync everything in Garmin Connect to keep the Garmin ecosystem up to date.
- Versatility for varied workouts: The HRM 600 provides pace and distance data both on the track and treadmill, and even allows you to track heart rate metrics during swimming.
- Assured comfort: Available in two new strap sizes (XS-S and M-XL), its customizable fit enhances comfort for all types of users.
