Deceuninck ends its sponsorship in cycling
The manufacturer of doors and windows Deceuninck will no longer be featured in the name of the Alpecin and Fenix teams, the squads under which cyclists like Mathieu van der Poel or Puck Pieterse compete at the end of the season. However, the company will continue to collaborate with the teams from a background position.
Van der Poel's team in search of a new main sponsor for 2026
Since 2022, Deceuninck has been part of the name of the Alpecin-Deceuninck teams and its women's counterpart Fenix-Deceuninck. A relationship with cycling that it previously had with Deceuninck-QuickStep, which it sponsored between 1999 and 2021.
A fruitful relationship for the brand responsible for manufacturing doors and windows if we stick to the many good sporting results achieved over these years, and one that Deceuninck has now announced will come to an end at the conclusion of the 2025 season.

Deceuninck's intention is to step back to a background position, so they will maintain some collaboration with the team and their name will continue to appear on the jerseys, but no longer as the main sponsor of the Roodhooft brothers' squad, who are surely already working to find a replacement in the main sponsorship that complements the contribution of the Alpecin shampoo brand that sponsors the men's team and the Fenix interior design brand that does the same with the women's team.
"The gratitude for their commitment is greater than the disappointment for the decision to take a step back. This represents a challenge for us as a team, but we have been informed in a timely manner and we are doing everything possible to attract another strong partner as a sponsor," Philip Roodhooft pointed out after Deceuninck's announcement to reduce support to the team.
