The €17,000 Colnago V4Rs with which Tadej Pogacar won the World Championship can be yours

Inspired by the successes already achieved by Tadej Pogacar, Colnago prepared a special edition of its V4Rs for Tadej Pogacar, the bicycle that the Slovenian has been using for the past two seasons but especially personalized to compete in the 2024 Zurich World Championship. A bike for a single race that could not have had a better role: World Champion with the greatest exhibition ever seen in this race.

If initially, when a couple of days before the 2024 Zurich World Championship Colnago presented the bike that Tadej Pogacar used in this race, it was expected to be a highly sought-after item despite the exclusive price of €17,200, after the spectacular triumph of the Slovenian, the Colnago V4Rs Tadej, the limited edition of the brand's flagship model from Cambiago, has surely become a true collector's item.

A bike characterized by its striking decoration sprinkled with geometric shapes and colors, apparently chaotic but where each element has a meaning that nods to all the successes that adorn Tadej Pogacar's palmares.

Thus, in this Colnago V4Rs Tadej, we find details in yellow that obviously refer to the 3 Tours de France won by Pogacar; the pink of the Giro d'Italia that he claimed in 2024. We also find the green color that, in this case, is a nod to his three victories in Il Lombardia and the two Lieges, the last one this same season for the Slovenian. On the other hand, the sky blue color has been chosen to represent the Paris-Nice that Tadej won last year and another shade of blue that makes a double reference to the race of the two seas, the Tirreno-Adriatico, and to the blue jersey that he also won in the Giro d'Italia as the winner of the mountain classification.

We cannot forget the white color either, a jersey that Tadej has worn a lot, although camouflaged as it is similar to the UAE Team Emirates kit, as the best young rider of the Tour de France between 2020 and 2023 since, let's not forget, Pogacar is still only 26 years old despite having won practically everything.

And if the blue color partly referred to the blue jersey, the red dots of the Tour de France mountain jersey that he won in the 2020 and 2021 editions could not be missing. Bronze and purple complete the design, the former in allusion to the medal he achieved at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 as well as the bronze he won last year at the Glasgow World Championship, while the latter color is simply a personal choice of the cyclist just like the TP logo that all the customizations prepared by different suppliers for the Slovenian feature.

Being a bicycle that is an exact replica of the one used by Tadej Pogacar makes this Colnago V4RS Tadej not only a frame with a specific design but also includes unusual components that we see on his bikes such as carbon and aluminum chainrings made by Carbon-Ti that also feature the TP logo stamped on their surface. Carbon-Ti also provides other components such as ultra-lightweight thru-axles, also with the cyclist's logo, or elitist floating discs with the spider made of carbon fiber. Carbon-Ti's contribution is completed with very light golden screws to fasten the bottle cages.

Continuing with the customized components, the usual ENVE SES 4.5 wheels used by Tadej Pogacar also receive decals with a design very similar to the frame paint. Completing the lineup of customized components is the Prologo Nago R4 Nack saddle, although in this case, in a discreet black color that will surely be added to the options available in the Prologo catalog and which, a few days ago, added the yellow and pink versions that Tadej used in the Tour and Giro.
