Carlos Coloma continues to promote cycling among the youngest and after his successful projects in Spain, he is now expanding this philosophy to Paraguay. Coloma, together with the Paraguayan Olympic Committee (COP) and the Paraguayan Cycling Federation, have signed an agreement for the creation of schools where the future generations of cyclists in the country can be trained.

The idea starts with the creation of an asphalt pump track that will bring this sport closer to all children and will continue with the implementation of a network of cross country circuits where students will learn the values and techniques of MTB.

The COP is proud of the agreement and expresses that being able to count on Carlos Coloma's experience in designing these schools will ensure "high standards of training, development, and competitiveness." The parties are now looking for areas to create the circuits and other areas that will facilitate children riding bikes. The project aims to export the model that Carlos Coloma has successfully implemented in Spain.

The initial pump track circuit will be open to all children and will also be aimed at those who ride skateboards or scooters. Later, the cross country circuit - which will include a rock garden and log area, among others - will serve for children around 6 years old to improve balance and bike technique. From 10-12 years old, they will continue with technical training for when they attend national races or, if applicable, international competitions.

Carlos Coloma has also expressed his satisfaction with the agreement and has stated that "I will try to transmit all my experience so that children grow up in an environment of companionship and learn the values of sports, which will serve them for life."
The COP trusts that this decision will help promote cycling in Paraguay and "promote local talent and the values of effort and excellence," while Carlos Coloma states that he hopes to return to the country to continue with the process.

The agreement was signed last Tuesday in the Auditorium Hall of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee with the signature of Carlos Coloma, Camilo Pérez (president of the COP), and authorities from the Paraguayan Cycling Federation.
