Brandon Semenuk enhances his legend at the Red Bull Rampage
Canadian Brandon Semenuk has just been crowned Red Bull Rampage winner for the fifth time, and he did it in style after a first round in which he fell and risked everything on his last chance.
Brandon Semenuk wins his fifth Red Bull Rampage
The Red Bull Rampage 2024 kept suspense for hours due to several delays caused by the wind and an evacuation. But, as always, it did not disappoint.

The Canadian Brandon Semenuk was the big favorite and during his first round everything seemed like he was going to secure the podium after several tailwhips (the whip is rotating the bike frame over the handlebars) very technical and aggressive but ended in a fall. Everything was played in the second round, and for that he had to wait a long time due to the delays, but Semenuk managed to make another epic descent, this time without falls and full of tailwhips in the highest and fastest areas, leaving him with 92.73 points at the top of the leaderboard. With this victory, Semenuk achieves his fifth Red Bull Rampage.

"I'm excited to build a cool line, hang out with my friends, and make it all the way down." "It was a really exciting event to watch. Many participants are at a crazy level. I have good people around me and I'm happy to ride down the hill." Said Semenuk after his victory.
Polish Szymon Godziek stayed in first place for much of the competition after a very technical first descent that gave him 95 points. He finally finished second after Semenuk's last round.
The podium was closed by Tyler McCaul, a classic of the Red Bull Rampage who had already competed in this same place in 2018 and 2019, finishing sixth and fifth respectively. McCaul finished with 90.66 points after nailing a new line that included a terrifying drop of almost 23 meters.
Among the Spaniards, Adolf Silva finished in eighth place after a great descent and Bienvenido Aguado, despite not finishing, won the Tenacity award (BFGoodrich Tires Toughness Award) for being able to compete in the final after a tough fall the day before where he came up short on a landing.
