3T fully enters the e-gravel market with a new electric range made in Italy
With the gravel market now completely dominated, 3T is renewing its range of electric bikes with three models, counterparts to their muscular equivalents, which, like their renowned gravel bikes, will also be 100% manufactured in Italy, starting from the carbon thread they weave according to their needs to create the different carbon sheets that make up their frames.

3T transforms its muscular gravel bikes into e-bikes
3T continues to expand the capacity of its facilities in Presezzo, a town near Bergamo where the Italian brand has been relocating practically all of its production, both bikes and components, achieving total control over the manufacturing process of its carbon fiber parts.
Just like with their muscular gravel bikes, 3T will have three electric models that only add the "E" to their name, namely, eRacemax, eUltra, and eExtrema. The eRacemax is derived from one of the most aerodynamic and fastest gravel bikes on the market, designed for those seeking maximum sportiness.

On the other hand, the eUltra is the intermediate option, an adventurous gravel bike with a more comfortable riding position, designed for versatile gravel use, from those who like to ride fast to those tackling bike packing trips or even for those who find a gravel bike the perfect option for their urban commutes.
At the most radical end, as its name suggests, the eExtrema is practically a mountain bike. A gravel bike designed to accommodate large-volume tires and fully capable of tackling the most technical and rugged terrains.

The frame in all of them is practically the same as in their muscular counterparts, as the large diagonal tube sections that these bikes already included allow for the battery of the electric assistance system to be housed quite easily. This assistance is managed by a Mahle X-20 motor that the brand has customized in its response according to 3T's requirements.
As is common in bikes equipped with a Mahle motor, the system is controlled via a button placed on the top tube that, in addition to turning the electric system on and off, allows switching between the different assistance modes. Additionally, it features Bluetooth connectivity to customize the various modes through its app and the ability to connect to our Garmin bike computer.

With its 65 Nm of torque, the Mahle X-20 motor is tuned to provide a progressive and smooth power delivery, and its location in the rear hub makes it completely discreet, adding no drag when the assistance is not active. It is accompanied by a 350 Wh battery that, on a route with about 2,000 m of elevation gain, with a 75 kg cyclist, would allow for a range of up to 150 km.
In this launch, 3T offers two setups for each of the models. The eRacemax will be available in a more affordable option based on Rival, priced at €9,916, and in a spectacular top-of-the-line version with SRAM Red XPLR AXS, 3T Discus wheels, and the stunning 3T Torno cranks, which goes up to €12,762.

For its part, the eExtrema also has two setups identical to those of the eRacemax, and in fact, the prices of both setups are exactly the same as for the sportiest bike. Finally, the eUltra is presented as a more accessible option with a setup based on SRAM Rival XPLR AXS priced at €6,794, with the curiosity that this option features a flat MTB-style handlebar. Lastly, a spot is reserved for those who prefer Shimano groups with a GRX group setup priced at €5,354.
