3K carbon and aluminum, Miche and its winning combination in the X2 RD plates
The Italian brand Miche presents its new X2 RD chainrings developed with the philosophy of not wasting a single watt generated. In their construction, they combine aluminum and carbon to offer the best combination of lightness, reactivity, and stiffness.
CNC precision and carbon structural layer: Miche X2 RD redefines efficiency
The heart of the new X2 RD lies in its careful construction. Miche has combined a CNC machined AL 7075-T6 aluminum plate with a 3K carbon structural layer. This fusion of materials results in an exceptionally rigid, light, and reactive chainring, optimized to turn every effort into pure speed.
Furthermore, its design has been conceived to ensure total compatibility with both cranksets with power meters and without them, guaranteeing maximum performance in any configuration.

The new X2 RD range is divided into two specific versions:
- X2 RD R92: Designed for Shimano Dura-Ace R9200 cranksets, available in five tooth options: 50, 52, 54, 55, and 56 teeth.
- X2 RD R81: Intended for Ultegra R8100 cranksets, with three configurations: 50, 52, and 54 teeth.
Both versions maintain the same design philosophy and are compatible with both Miche R12 inner chainrings and original Shimano chainrings, thus offering a wide range of choices for cyclists.
With the new X2 RD, Miche not only proposes to push harder but also to pedal more efficiently. Every watt counts, and optimizing the transmission system directly translates into performance, time savings, and results.
The Miche X2 RD is now available for €200 (VAT included).
